Senior Strategic Procurement Manager -Onshore Wind [Hybrid in San Diego, CA]

Scope of Position EDF Renewables North America is a market-leading independent power producer and service provider with over 35 years of experience. Lead and support the development of strategy for and the procurement of the key components that make up EDF Renewables’ projects and products, including onshore wind turbines, energy storage solutions, solar modules, solar inverters, tracking systems and other key technologies with a focus on onshore wind. Responsibilities • Category Management: • Category Management and Contracting: Capture business demands and handle competitive tendering, review and levelize vendor proposals, negotiation and contract execution for key goods and services as needed, ensuring that agreements are executed within the required timeframe. Make recommendations as to which supplier/contractor/technology should be deployed including leading contract negotiations and interfaces with a cross-functional team. Own and refine the procurement guidance to the business including methodology, tools, and processes.
