What The Role Is The Analyst, Risk works directly with the Director of Risk aiding in the implementation and analysis of commercial insurance programs and coordinating the execution of insurance reports for Capital Markets. This position will be responsible for assisting with the completion of renewal submissions, and applications for various lines of insurance coverage. Additionally, this position will ensure all new and renewal insurance policies are maintained in a manner that they can be audited and researched regarding terms and coverages. This is a hybrid role located in one of our office locations in Scottsdale, AZ, Carlsbad, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Houston, TX. What You'll Be Doing • Coordinates internal resources, insurance consultants, and insurance brokers for the execution of insurance reports for capital market transactions. • Assures all new and renewal insurance policy applications are done correctly with appropriate exposure and loss information. • Maintains insurance policies, binders, and supporting documentation. • Demonstrates the ability to negotiate with internal business partners, insurance brokers, and insurance consultants through written and verbal communications. Works under the direction of more experienced staff. • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies responsive to the property loss control conducted by the property insurance carrier. Handles property claims in a timely and efficient manner. What You'll Bring • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum of 2 years of related risk experience including experience with data collection/analysis. • Project management experience including planning, organization, and prioritization. • Technical writing and analytical skills. • Understanding of basic asset class (i.e., utility solar, DG and C&I Solar, wind farms, battery storage). • Basic understanding of risk analysis, probable maximum loss, and sharing of insurance limits. • Ability to self-manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook). What Would Be Nice • Casualty, renewable energy, liability, and property insurance experience desired. Real Estate Title & Survey Specialist

What The Role Is Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, the Real Estate Title & Survey Specialist is responsible for supporting real estate development and curative work across multiple projects on the team charged with the development and execution of construction of Clearway Energy Group's 10 GW solar, wind, and battery storage pipeline. The primary objective is to work with the Development, Legal, Engineering, Capital Markets, and Construction teams across the full project life cycle from origination to commissioning and support all associated real estate activities required to bring projects through financing, into construction, and ultimately to successful commercial operation. What You'll Be Doing • At the direction of senior real estate, legal, or development personnel, manage real estate aspects of project development, construction, and financing, including: • Work with Clearway developers to obtain and confirm legal descriptions for target land parcels for greenfield projects. • Support preparation, execution, and recording of real estate documents • Order and manage title and survey work. • Conduct due diligence review for real estate transactions, including title and survey review, lease review, review of third-party reports, and abstracting title and lease documents. • Identify and implement title curative actions. • Draft and negotiate title pro formas / policies • Work collaboratively with internal Business Development, Legal, Development, and Capital Markets staff and external consultants, taking the lead and/or assisting in an advisory or collaborative role where necessary to identify and/or mitigate key real estate risks. • Work with external development partners, financing parties, legal counsel, and title companies to consummate transactions and negotiate appropriate title policies. • Identify, propose, and support the implementation of creative or alternative project development approaches that reduce exposure to real estate risks and improve development schedules. • In coordination with other departments, prepare appropriate real estate development or diligence budgets. • Oversee real estate-related expenditures, consistent with the goals of the organization and in line with budgetary authorizations, project schedules, and established standards. • Maintain regular communication with project team members and assist in the communication of land and real estate efforts to upper management. What You'll Bring • Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, legal studies, or similar field. • Minimum of 4 years of full-time real estate paralegal experience is required. • Experience handling a large volume of commercial real estate transactions, land development, and land acquisition in various states. • Familiarity with project development lifecycle and key real estate terms. • Attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills. • Ability to summarize complex issues and identify opportunities or next steps. • Ability to handle numerous activities, set priorities, and exercise independent judgment.
