What The Role Is The Analyst, Risk works directly with the Director of Risk aiding in the implementation and analysis of commercial insurance programs and coordinating the execution of insurance reports for Capital Markets. This position will be responsible for assisting with the completion of renewal submissions, and applications for various lines of insurance coverage. Additionally, this position will ensure all new and renewal insurance policies are maintained in a manner that they can be audited and researched regarding terms and coverages. Director, Business Development (Hybrid)

What The Role Is Reporting to the Managing Director of Business Development, the role is responsible for valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of utility scale renewable (solar, wind and energy storage) development project acquisition opportunities as well as strategy, structuring, and pricing support for development and power marketing. Our headquarters are in San Francisco, CA but we are open to a Hybrid work schedule for our other office locations of Carlsbad, CA, Scottsdale, AZ, Houston, TX, and Denver, CO. *This job posting is open to multiple locations but represents one available position* What You'll Be Doing Manage the renewable energy project acquisition process: support origination, structuring, and closing of high-quality and profitable solar, wind and energy storage acquisitions as a key member / leader of a transaction team. Coordinate with internal constituents and third-party consultants to perform due diligence activities. Work with development, engineering, procurement, construction, capital markets, O&M and asset management teams to ensure conformance with underwriting guidelines, investment metrics and forecasted cash flows. Prepare detailed memos and presentations for senior management and investment committee. Senior Associate, Market Optimization & Trading

What The Role Is Reporting to the Senior Director, Market Optimization & Trading, the Senior Associate of Market Optimization & Trading will be responsible for the development and execution of short-term trading strategies for Clearway’s ERCOT and PJM assets. Fundamental Analysis • Research fundamental drivers of supply, load, congestion, and seasonal weather risk in support of Day Ahead trading, intra-month trading, and upstream investment decision processes. • Establish, and maintain capabilities to monitor and take effective action on market fundamentals changes. • Manage internal personnel, services/subscriptions, and 3rd parties to enable oversight and mitigation of market and volumetric risk factors including weather, transmission, regulatory, and other supply/load drivers. • Provide recurring and ad-hoc updates to internal stakeholders and financial partners. Governance, Compliance & Administration • Manage Clearway’s ERCOT and PJM market exposure in compliance with corporate and project-level trading and risk policies. • Work with Risk, Settlements, Accounting, and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with key business controls. • Work across the organization to improve analytical tools, risk management, and market knowledge. Due Diligence in support of M&A and Project Investments • Perform project evaluations, project agreement reviews, due diligence and make recommendations in support of acquisitions, divestitures, and/or investments in company-developed or repowered projects.
