The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the understanding and comprehesion of technical drawings. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components. The Fabricator/Welder will work primarily on construction sites and in fabrication shops, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality results. Schedule Monday- Thursday 6am-4:45pm Paid Break 9am-9:15am Lunch Break 12pm-12:45pm Responsibilities • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Perform welding tasks using various techniques including TIG & MIG Welding. • Operate machinery such as break press and pipe roller equipment to shape metal components. • Assemble metal structures by cutting, fitting, and welding components together. • Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills • 5 Yrs plus experience preferred. • Proficient in welding techniques including TIG & MIG. • Experience with machining processes and the operation of fabrication equipment. • Reading & understanding of technical drawings accurately. • Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements in fabrication tasks. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during fabrication. • Knowledge of construction site safety practices and protocols. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. MIG Welder/Fabricator

MIG Welder 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am JOB DESCRIPTION: MIG Welding of Carbon Steel. Hard wire, not Flux Core. Will be responsible for assembling and/or finish welding structural steel beams ranging from 50 lbs to 10,000 lbs. Will be required to maintain tolerances within the Structural Weld Manual using tape measure, square, protractor, fillet weld gauge, etc. Accuracy is very important and all parts must be checked against prints and structural weld manual to ensure proper fit and compliance with all codes. Person will be required to load, unload, and store structural beams using an overhead crane. Will also be required to operate all necessary equipment such as welder, torch, gouger, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for the quality and quantity of the finished product. · Responsible for creating and maintaining a working team environment. · Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping. · Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision. · Responsible for any other tasks as assigned by the Team Leader. · Practice safe working habits and follow safety policy, procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). · Ability to work continuous improvement of product quality. QUALIFICATIONS: · Have or achieve AWS Certification at the D1.1 & D1.3 standard within 14 days of awarded job (internal pre-qualification required, prior to offering position). · Good communication skills. · Ability and willingness to learn. · Ability to read and interpret shop prints and Weld Tolerance Manual. · Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. · Use required measuring devices such as tape measure, square, weld gauge, etc. to accurately check and document part quality. · Safely operate overhead crane to load and unload material. · Identify and select raw material while maintaining traceability.
