About Our Client Our client is an independently owned company specializing in hydraulic cylinder replacement and repair for the elevator industry. The company has over 50 years of experience in the industry with projects spanning Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Company Location: Arcadia, Florida but you will travel during the week including overnight assignments. Your Job Duties • Perform arc welding on hydraulic elevator cylinders • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Conduct quality checks on welded parts. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills • Must be proficient performing arc welding tasks and pass an on-site welding test prior to receiving a job offer. • Strong mechanical knowledge. • Experience in blueprint reading for accurate interpretation of project requirements. • Ability to use calipers and other measuring instruments for quality assurance. • Competent in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. • Experience with hand tools and machining processes is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
