2025/2026 - Associate Faculty - Welding

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Santa Rosa Junior College is currently accepting applications on a continuous basis to establish a pool for associate faculty assignments. Associate assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. Compensation/Benefits Assignments are made on a part-time, hourly basis. A part-time faculty assignment may not exceed a total of 67% of an annual full-time assignment. • Starting Hourly Rate: Please see the hourly salary schedules or contact Human Resources for more information. • Salary placement is based on academic background, vocational experience, and teaching experience (depending on discipline) and as documented in application materials. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Department of Industrial and Trade Technology includes the disciplines of Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Education and Welding Technology. The department has 5 full-time and 20 associate faculty teaching on the Santa Rosa campus and many off-campus locations throughout Sonoma County. The Automotive Program serves the needs of students with both academic and vocational goals. Graduates of our program are currently employed in a wide range of automotive related positions. Our primary goal is to provide a quality and useful education for those students wishing to (a) complete various certificate programs, (b) transfer to four-year colleges or universities, or (c) master the trade skills so as to better themselves, their families and their prospects for gainful employment. HVAC Welder

Day-to-Day Performs welding and HVAC installation tasks in the field under the direct supervision of the Foreman and Lead Installer. Ensures high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and support for efficient mechanical system installations.
