Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in welding. This role involves working on construction sites and fabricating various components, including structural components and pipe spools. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for interpreting schematics and using power tools effectively to ensure high-quality fabrication and welding. Duties • Operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely to move materials. • Fabricate metal components according to specifications, including ductwork and sheet metal. • Read and and blueprints to understand project requirements. • Utilize power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a construction setting. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Familiarity with operating cranes and rigging equipment safely. • Experience working with ductwork and sheet metal fabrication. • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. • Competence in using various power tools effectively and safely. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
