Welder II Key Responsibilities: • Welding: Performing various welding operations, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join metal pieces. • Fabrication: Preparing and fabricating metal parts according to blueprints, specifications, and drawings. • Repair and Maintenance: Repairing and maintaining metal components and equipment. • Blueprint Reading: Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and other technical documentation to plan and execute welding tasks. • Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining various welding equipment, including grinders, drill presses, and cutting tools. • Quality Control: Inspecting welds for quality and conformance to specifications. • Safety: Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including using personal protective equipment (PPE). Role Summary/Purpose As a member of a World-Class Team, the Manufacturing Tank Welder will work from engineering specifications and follow manufacturing standard operating procedures. They will also perform welding activities to form leak tight assemblies utilizing steel alloy materials.
