This role involves welding cylinder pipe using MIG, Stick, Flux-core, and Sub-Arc processes, following specifications, and ensuring quality standards are met. Pay ranges based on experience & weld test results. Shop Welder Details: • Temp-to-Hire position • $20.00 to $24.00 /hour • Full Time work available • Second Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 06:00pm to 05:00am) • Weld cylinder pipe using SMAW, FCAW, and SAW processes. • Follow engineering specifications and standard operating procedures. • Perform visual and in-process weld inspections in compliance with API and ISO quality standards. • Assist with troubleshooting and solving welding issues to improve efficiency. • Pass periodic weld tests and maintain qualifications per company procedures. • Perform rigging, torch cutting, and grinding when required. • Use micrometers, calipers, and scales to verify product accuracy. • Report non-conforming parts to the Plant Supervisor. • Follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Support other plant operations as needed. Shop Welder Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to pass weld certification tests. • Must have own welding hood & gloves. • Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, scales). • Strong attention to detail and quality standards. • Applicant may be subject to a background check • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment • A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. Welder 1 - MFG

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Welding and fabrication using oxyacetylene or electric welding equipment. • Lay out, cut, file, and prepare materials for welding. • Fabricates a variety of regular and irregular parts. • Perform various fit up and welding processes in all positions. • Use plasma torch for trimming fittings. • Verify conformance of work piece to specifications. • Other duties as assigned. • Must be able to work with minimal supervision. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide on the job training to new employees as needed. • Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to read tape measure accurately. • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. • Forklift certification preferred. • Basic press skills preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots, and gloves.
