Applicants must have 2 years of mig welding experience (work or school) and be able to read a tape measure. Candidates are required to pass a tape measure test and complete a fabrication demonstration. Employee Training will include: reading of blueprints/shop drawings, operating of all equipment, i.e., forklifts, saws, drill machine, plasma table, iron workers, and robotic welder. This is a first shift position 7:30am to 4:15pm Monday to Friday. Some occasional overtime during the week or weekend is required. Pay will be based upon work experience and skill set. Qualifications - Blueprint reading and interpretation skills - Proficiency in MIG welding techniques - Experience with fabrication using metal - Ability to operate power tools and welding equipment - Strong understanding of basic math for measurements - Lift and carry up to 50 pounds several times during the shift.
