Welder Fabricator

Summary: The HVAC Sheet Metal Welder will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing HVAC ductwork and components. This role requires a strong background in both sheet metal work and welding to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability in our projects. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of various welding techniques, including welding steel and stainless steel. Schedule: 8-hour shift Duties: • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components. • Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG and flux-cored) to secure metal parts and assemblies. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Perform welding tasks on steel and stainless steel materials • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications • Operate and maintain welding equipment to build and fabricate metal components • Inspect welds for accuracy, safety, and quality assurance • Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations. • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding with a strong sheet metal background. • Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG and flux-cored). • Knowledge of HVAC systems and components. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments. Experience: • Minimum 5 years of welding experience preferred • Proficiency in welding steel and stainless steel • Certification in Aerial Lift Platform, or willingness to complete the required training • OSHA 10 Certification, or willingness to complete the required training License/Certification: • Valid Welding License Ability to Relocate: • Lexington, KY 40506: Relocate before starting work (Required) WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS • Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise in the work environment is often loud. • Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager. The work environments are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Welder Helper

Summary: The Welder Helper will assist welders in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal structures and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and metalworking, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. The Welder Helper will work under the supervision of a lead welder and will be responsible for ensuring that all welding equipment and materials are properly prepared and maintained.
