Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and assemble various components. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in welding techniques, particularly TIG welding. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality metal structures and repairs while adhering to industry codes and standards. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication. • Fabricate structures and other metal components according to project specifications. • Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques to assemble parts securely. • Utilize tools and measuring devices to ensure precision in fabrication. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Experience • Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding, with a focus on tig welding preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with various tools and equipment used in fabrication. • Ability to read blueprints accurately is essential for this role. • Basic math skills are necessary for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process. • Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. • Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication is advantageous.
