The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various materials while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities • Perform MIG and TIG welding on metals and other materials as required. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently. • Fabricate components according to design specifications using sheet metal and ductwork. • Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications • Proven experience in welding with knowledge of ASME codes & standards. • Familiarity with various welding processes including FCAW, MIG, TIG, soldering, and plasma cutting. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles. • Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery such as press brake machines and machining tools is a plus. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing setting. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
