You’ll assemble and weld metal parts in production, using welding equipment, requiring advanced skills and knowledge of welding techniques while complying with all company and safety policies and procedures. Pay starting at $22.66 per hour. What You’ll Do: • Weld metal parts together per print and if specified, spot weld as required, using MIG or TIG welding equipment. • Adjust welder for type and gauge of material to be welded per recommended settings. • Follow drawings for welding position and specification of welds. What You’ll Need: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Basic computer knowledge. • Welder Level I: Ability to acceptably weld parts to print specification with some supervision. Ability to read prints. • Welder Level II: Duties of Level I, plus Class One certified Proficient in MIG or TIG welding. What Helps: • Vocational or trade school is a plus.
