Newfab, Inc. is a metal fabricator and contract manufacturer of commercial and industrial machinery and equipment. Located in Auburn, Maine. The Metal Fabricator/Process Welder position is responsible for fabricating and assembling machinery, including process piping, and components per drawings and other supplied information. Successful candidate will be able to read mechanical drawings, perform layout, cutting, forming, fitting, and welding MIG/TIG on carbon and stainless steel and be able to perform certified pipe welding as required. Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to meet customer requirements. Work involves carbon and stainless steel structural shapes, sheet, plate, and piping, assembly of components, such as machinery frames, and vessels, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. Entry level positions available Qualifications: • High School Diploma.
