Job Overview: We are seeking a versatile Construction Manager to oversee the civil and site work activities of a three 27 MW solar farms under construction in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The Construction Manager will oversee early-stage construction activities, ensuring that work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role involves risk identification, coordination of EPC activities, and planning for phased full-time hires in preparation for the next stage of construction post-July 31. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage civil and site work activities during the early stages of solar farm construction. • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and resource plans for construction activities. • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. • Manage EPC contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address challenges and ensure smooth operations. • Prepare for phased recruitment and management of Electrical and Mechanical Construction Managers as construction ramps up. • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide oversight. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience, with a strong background in civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. • Technical Knowledge: • Familiarity with utility-scale solar farm construction is preferred. • Travel: Ability to travel regularly to the project site in Mercer County. • Remote candidates will be considered. • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
