Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), and utilizing your expertise to build and maintain electrical systems safely and efficiently. FREE TRAINING and CERTIFICATIONS for SOLAR and ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local regulations. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to complete projects efficiently. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. Experience • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role is preferred. • Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. • Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical work. • Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are highly desirable.
