Solar Appointment Setter - Central Point Of Contact

AEV Solar is immediately hiring a Solar Sales Appointment Setter to join our team. We are known as one of the top-rated largest residential solar providers in Arkansas! You will work with homeowners to schedule qualified appointments for our amazing Sales Team. Your responsibility is not to close sales, but only to collect the required information from interested customers who reach out to us in order to get a free solar site survey appointment. There is no experience required! We will train you to succeed. Schedule: We are open to candidates seeking Full-time employment, Monday through Friday. This might include occasionally answering calls from customers after hours. Responsibilities: • Collect the Required information on the call with a client. • Develop new sales opportunities by scheduling appointments through receiving calls. • Set appointments with customers to review their solar proposal • Coordinate and confirm appointments with the sales team and clients. • This position will include maintaining efficient operation of the office environment • The role is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including calendar management, coordinating events and meetings, organizing files, preparing reports and memos, answering phone calls, and drafting emails. • Assist in making proposals, and filling out utility applications and installation agreements. • Manage an accurate and organized calendar, schedule meetings, and set up conference calls using HubSpot and Google Calendar. • Answer the phone during business hours, take accurate messages, respond with the appropriate information, and/or transfer calls to the appropriate personnel • Sort and distribute incoming faxes, emails, letters, and other correspondence • Perform diverse and confidential administrative support functions • Operate a variety of office equipment, including a copier, fax machine, and computer • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables, following up on outstanding items • Develop and implement processes to drive efficiency in planning, reporting, and communication within the team • Manage general office supplies inventory, and so much more! Solar Technician Level 1

Job Summary: National Power is seeking a motivated Solar Technician 1. The Solar Technician 1 is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of solar energy systems. The technician will work closely with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Install solar PV systems, including civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards • Perform trenching, excavation, conduit installation, and backfilling according to project specifications and safety requirements • Install DC wiring, module installation, combiner boxes, inverters, and AC electrical infrastructure (including transformer and switchgear installations) • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs • Participate in safety meetings and follow strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and harnesses • Adhere to all relevant codes (NEC, OSHA, etc.), site safety standards, and environmental regulations Qualifications: • 1+ years of solar installation experience • Understanding of DC systems (string wiring, combiner boxes, grounding) and AC systems (panels, transformers, grid tie-ins) • Basic understanding of OSHA and site safety protocols • Good communication skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required Preferred Qualifications: • OSHA 10 Certification, CPR/First Aid Certified • Experience working on utility-scale solar projects (up to 10MW) • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical Requirements: • Ability to work at heights on rooftops and other elevated structures • Capability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, up to 75 pounds • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment • Ability to climb ladders and scaffold and maintain balance while working on elevated surfaces • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and kneel • Prolonged periods of standing and walking on uneven surfaces • Good visual acuity to read technical drawings and manuals, and to perform detailed work Work Environment: • The role involves working outdoors on rooftops and other elevated structures, which may expose the technician to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind Compensation & Benefits: • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
