Duties and responsibilities include : • Deliver development projects on time and on budget. • Coordinate the broader development team in achieving objectives for individual projects and project portfolios. • Provide input to and support quarterly and annual regional development objectives and budget planning. • Create and implement development strategies for solar, wind, and storage projects. • Estimate staffing needs and schedules and assign work to meet completion date. • Track project risk throughout the development cycle, provide risk assessments and mitigations. • Participate in the development of key account and utility relationships, support origination of contracts with such key accounts. • Develop proposal strategies for RFPs or similar processes and help coordinate bid responses. • Develop / maintain business relationships with key consultants and vendors, and negotiate terms for vendors and consultants who participate in the development process. • Research and stay informed of critical client and industry policies, regulations, and issues. • Manage a Development Associate assigned to the region. • Help create Ecoplexus project development framework best practices and conduct internal training. QUALIFICATIONS • 3+ years of experience and a strong record of accomplishment in relevant roles • Renewable energy, power industry, or project management experience required. Project Development experience preferred • Skilled at organization and problem solving throughout the development lifecycle. • Strong project, process and organizational skills including creating and managing project budgets and schedules. • Ability to work effectively with and manage cross-functional teams. • Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities and urgencies presented day to day. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred. • Experience working in MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, and Powerpoint) and Google Cloud Applications • (Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations).
