Olson Solar Energy is one of the first solar companies based in the Lacrosse, WI area and have locations in Eau Claire and Wausau WI. We are currently seeking a Solar Project Manager. As a Project Manager, your responsibility will be to manage solar projects throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.** • *Olson Solar Energy's MISSION** Creating a Renewable Energy Option for the Northern Midwest • *COMPANY SUMMARY** Olson Solar Energy was founded in 2017 by the two owners Cameron and Brandon Olson. Whether you are hoping to make an update on your home or business, they are dedicated to serving your needs. • *POSITION SUMMARY:** This position is a hands\-on motivated individual who will manage solar projects through the installation process. Once the solar project is sold the Project Manager will then follow a project throughout the process to ensure timely completion of all project steps. Weekly communication to the customers during these steps will be required. They will be required to work effectively with multiple parties and coordinate scheduling of parts of projects i.e; energy companies, local jurisdictions, installation teams, electrical teams, and others as required. • *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** • Scheduling site visits with customers • Working with Designers in pulling, completing and submitting required permits for utility companies, AHJs and municipalities. • Coordinating project steps with designers, installers, electricians, inspectors, utility providers, etc. • Finalizing site plans for projects in conjunction with customers and designers • Providing customers with weekly email updates of project status reports • Maintain professional relationships with all customers • Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential • Other duties as requested • *SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:** • High school degree or equivalent (required) • Driver's license (required) • Microsoft Office 365 experience (required) • US work authorization (required) • Prior experience in solar industry (preferred) Job Type: Full\-time Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday • On call Education: • High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: • Project Management: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Onalaska, WI 54650: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
