Licensed Electrician - Wisconsin

About the position Solar Connection, established in 2010, is a privately-owned solar energy solutions company that designs and installs innovative solar energy systems for a variety of customers, including homes, businesses, and farms throughout the regions. Headquartered in Rochester, Minnesota, our organization is a leader in our field with resources and additional opportunities in road construction and maintenance, aggregate, transportation logistics, and emerging technology throughout the Midwest. In this position, the Licensed Electrician will be responsible for leading the electrical installation of solar arrays for residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. The design team will provide plan sets for these projects, and it will be the Journeyman's responsibility to carry out the installation according to these plans. While no prior solar installation experience is necessary, a solid electrical background and a willingness to learn are essential. This role presents a great opportunity to expand your skills and be part of a growing industry. The electrician will plan the layout of the project and install the appropriate electrical equipment using the line diagram as a template. Knowledge of electrical code, relevant industry standards, and the skills expected of a licensed electrician will be crucial.
