Bantam Communications is looking for a local Ambassador to represent the Danville Solar project in Boyle County, Kentucky. This is a contract/consulting position with flexible part-time hours and a hybrid work schedule. The Danville Solar project will bring millions of dollars of local impact to Boyle County. Working alongside our project developers, staff, and consultants, the Ambassador will represent this project locally by engaging with community leaders, landowners, businesses, organizations, and elected officials as we work through the permitting process and development. Community engagement occurs at the intersection of relationship building and impact, where strong partnerships are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared vision. In this role, you'll use your creativity and networking skills to build relationships with local leaders across your community and raise project awareness through 1-on-1 outreach, public events, formal government activities, traditional news media, and social media. You’ll be trained on the details of solar development, local government activities, and effective community engagement to help you succeed and grow in this exciting new role.
