Description The Dock Specialist is a highly motivated file and document specialist with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have advanced computer literacy and be well-versed in database entry, reporting and adept at producing accurate deliverables on daily and weekly notice. This candidate will collect data for production on solar panels, keep up with attendance and involved in projects. Major Responsibilities • Store, manage, and track physical and digital records and documents • Ensure organization follows policies and retrieves documents upon request • Archive inactive records and documents • Understands the purpose of complex documents and how they interconnect in relation to business functions and processes • Monitors lifecycle of documents as they are ingested into the system, processed administratively and stored as an official record • Researches and processes data requests for documents, metadata, and status of documents in the workflow lifecycle • Creates and verifies reports • Provides support with acquisitions and divestitures as requested • Monitors and processes documents into SAP or Excel • Maintains data integrity by performing quality control checks and audits • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Qualifications • High School education, associate degree, or some college cores • 2 years experience in a technical support role with 6 months office experience required • Intermediate level Microsoft Office • Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail • Works under general supervision • Responsibilities are mostly daily, routine tasks in an area of responsibility AOR with some assistance with projects • Makes some decisions involving reasonableness and accuracy of work • Assists with training new Document Control Specialists/Technicians Preferred Qualification: • Previous experience as a General Labourer in a manufacturing environment an asset • Existing knowledge of Workplace Safety, First Aid and CPR preferred • Ability to communicate effectively in English (Mandarin highly preferred) Compensation and Benefits: Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement.
