Sr. Right of Way Agent- Solar

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring for the position of a Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Amarillo, TX . The individual we are looking for must be a self-starter and able to perform the below tasks with very little or no supervision. This is an on-site position in the panhandle of Texas and includes per diem 7 days a week. Qualifications and Responsibilities • Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies. • Represents client and self with professionalism and integrity. Can relate to people from various backgrounds. Can diffuse tense situations quickly. • Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure necessary access to company assets. • Thorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws/regulations related to Right of Way operations. • Able to conduct internal title research and external title research in the courthouse with no supervision. • Mapping software experience (GIS, Google Earth, ability to deed plot, ability to learn any client internal mapping systems). • Ability to interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings). • Ability to navigate multiple client databases. • Ability to conduct online research. • Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use. • Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role. Education/Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Right-of-Way industry primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines; solar experience is a plus but not required. This position manages moderate to complex geotechnical projects specifically related to the solar energy development by providing the technical expertise required to exceed client expectations. Responsibilities • Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects, primarily in the solar energy field. • Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects. • Review field logs and soil samples for classification and boring log preparation. • Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies. • Make geotechnical recommendations and prepares engineering reports for senior review. • Manage routine to complex geotechnical engineering projects including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety. • Work independently on specific assignments of limited scope with Senior review. • Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects. • Coordinate with regional operations to effectively coordinate staff, resources, and workloads. • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. • Support client relationships to effectively achieve wind market sector goals and strategies. • As needed, perform various field testing and observations. • As needed, assist field operations with technician training and review. • Must be action oriented, able to effectively/efficiently manage time, and able to learn quickly. Solar Field Technician I (Tulia, TX)

About the position Responsibilities • Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA systems. • Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC solar PV systems. • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures. • Communicate effectively with remote operators and cross-functionally within the organization. • Complete CMMS work orders and maintain documentation. • Participate in safety and environmental training as assigned. • Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.
