QUALIFICATIONS: • Able to understand all aspects of HVAC installation. • Be dependable and able to work different areas at a time with 4-5 people in each group. • To be able to lay-out duct for installation and look ahead to keep work going smoothly. • Employee must have a good working attitude. • Needs to adhere to all EAS safety policies and regulations. • Must be capable of spotting unsafe situations and correcting them as needed. • Has to be able to sketch fitting for duct connections. Have knowledge of signals for rigging, and setting HVAC equipment with cranes, boom trucks, lulls, and forklifts. • Have knowledge of Welding and fabrication of supports for equipment. • Needs to know Air flow of systems as far as—Supply; Return; Exhaust. • Needs to be able to do Quality Control to make sure that all HVAC inline Mechanical Devices are installed according to Manufactures Instructions. • Needs to be able to work with other Trades in a Professional manner to correct any conflicts that may arise. • Capable of reading not only duct work drawings, but Architectural drawings to locate rooms, ceiling elevations, columns.
