Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Mechanic with strong aviation experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, fabrication, and installation of aircraft sheet metal components in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This role requires frequent travel to various client sites, sometimes on short notice. Key Responsibilities: Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on various aircraft structures (commercial, cargo, or military). Fabricate parts and perform installations using blueprints, drawings, and technical data. Use hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, drills, and precision measuring instruments. Inspect work to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards. Read and interpret engineering drawings, structural repair manuals, and work instructions. Collaborate with engineering, inspection, and QA/QC teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Travel to offsite locations for AOG support, field maintenance, or long-term projects. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical training or A&P license preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation sheet metal work. Experience with Airbus, Boeing, or military platforms preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and maintenance manuals. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments. Must have own tools and be able to pass background and drug screening. Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one). Willing and able to travel extensively (up to 75%). Preferred Skills: Multiple years of experience ,A&P License or equivalent certifications. Knowledge of corrosion control, composite repairs, and precision drilling.
