Sheet Metal Roofer - Beloit, WI Location: Beloit, WI | Travel: Up to 100% The Staff Pad has partnered with a commercial contractor company in Beloit, WI seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Roofer to join their growing team. This role involves fabricating and installing sheet metal building components on job sites under the direction of the Roofing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and construction safety practices. Responsibilities: • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal roofing components using hand and power tools • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for precise fabrication and installation • Perform welding, soldering, shearing, and bending of metal parts • Trim and finish metal surfaces for safety and visual standards • Maintain daily time logs and participate in safety meetings • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols • Represent the company professionally on job sites and collaborate with team members Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required; Apprenticeship completion preferred • 1-4 years of sheet metal or related experience • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required • Must obtain OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Forklift, and Aerial certifications within the first year • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fabrication tools • Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills • Willingness to travel and work overnight as needed Additional Requirements: • Ability to work safely with a variety of hand and power tools • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team • Personal hand tools required per company policy

Such as site preparation, safety, product installation, thermal and moisture protection, terminations, equipment, and special construction in accordance with commercial and industrial project specifications and company procedures. Main Duties/Responsibilities: The Sheet Metal Roofer uses tools and equipment to fabricate building components and assemble those components into a finished system at the project site, in accordance with company policies and procedures. These duties include but are not limited to: bending and shearing equipment to brake. Braking, welding, soldering, and joining sheet metal components into a finished product. Measuring, marking dimensions and laying out material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators and squares. The Installation of sheet metal components into building. Qualifications:The Sheet Metal Roofer will have 1-4 years' experience in sheet metal roofing. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and willing to follow directions as well as be able to lift 50lbs. Candidates must have no fear of heights or confined spaces. Candidate must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, be legal to work in the United States, and be able to travel throughout the United States.
