This role involves fabricating and installing sheet metal building components on job sites under the direction of the Roofing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and construction safety practices. Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal roofing components using hand and power tools Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for precise fabrication and installation Perform welding, soldering, shearing, and bending of metal parts Trim and finish metal surfaces for safety and visual standards Maintain daily time logs and participate in safety meetings Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols Represent the company professionally on job sites and collaborate with team members Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; Apprenticeship completion preferred 1-4 years of sheet metal or related experience Valid driver's license and auto insurance required Must obtain OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Forklift, and Aerial certifications within the first year Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fabrication tools Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel and work overnight as needed Additional Requirements: Ability to work safely with a variety of hand and power tools Comfortable working independently or as part of a team Personal hand tools required per company policy
