ROOFER - SHEET METAL

CCI is currently seeking a full-time Sheet Metal Roofer. In this position, the candidate will be assigned tasks and duties in relation to commercial roofing projects that pertains to sheet metal. Such as site preparation, safety, product installation, thermal and moisture protection, terminations, equipment, and special construction in accordance with commercial and industrial project specifications and company procedures. Main Duties/Responsibilities: The Sheet Metal Roofer uses tools and equipment to fabricate building components and assemble those components into a finished system at the project site, in accordance with company policies and procedures. These duties include but are not limited to: bending and shearing equipment to brake. Braking, welding, soldering, and joining sheet metal components into a finished product. Measuring, marking dimensions and laying out material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators and squares. The Installation of sheet metal components into building. Qualifications: The Sheet Metal Roofer will have 1-4 years' experience in sheet metal roofing. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and willing to follow directions as well as be able to lift 50lbs. Candidates must have no fear of heights or confined spaces. Candidate must also have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance, be legal to work in the United States, and be able to travel throughout the United States. Service Department: Work in house as Customer Technical Support or in the field as Service Technician Customer Technical Support PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY As a Customer Technical Support professional at Roper Whitney LLC, you will be responsible for handling technical calls from customers and working alongside field service technicians, the service manager, and the engineering department to troubleshoot any electrical or mechanical issues they may be experiencing. Your expertise will help customers identify a repair strategy that can get their machines back up and running as soon as possible. Verifies that all service meets customer specifications and is in accordance with Company quality standards. · Serves new/existing customers by analyzing work orders, conducting tests, investigating complaints, and resolving problems. · Planning daily travel schedule. · Establishes service by analyzing requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. · Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements. · Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs. · Documents service and installation actions by completing forms; reports; logs and records. · Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications. · Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed. · Around 70% of the time travel to job sites with the United States and occasionally Canada and Mexico. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED · Education/Training: Mechatronics or equivalent. · Experience/Skills: Strong background in reading electrical schematics and electronics troubleshooting.
