NEFFSVILLE PLUMBING - Lancaster PA The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Performs a variety of services ranging from faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Essential Job Functions: • Complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home, service calls. • Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans. • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business. • Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations. Qualifications: • Candidates to be considered will have at least 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience; Journeyman's License Preferred. • Ability to drive a company service truck safely at all times and to maintain a clean driving record. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to make sound business decisions • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills. • Excellent time management skills • Ability to sell services to customers effectively and satisfactorily; assist the customer in choosing the best service option and products and strive to win referrals and repeat business. • Ability to maintain a clean, organized job site • Ability to maintain a well-inventoried truck • Honesty and trustworthiness in dealing with customers • Demonstrate sound work ethic • Ability to work a varying schedule depending on the company’s needs; work off-shift with minimal notice if required, including holidays and weekends • Ability to participate in training sessions and company meetings • Accuracy and timely invoicing, timesheets other daily paperwork • Knowledge of local plumbing codes. • Proven track record in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and repair. • Clean, safe driving record.
