The role includes diagnosing and repairing plumbing and heating systems, ensuring all plumbing infrastructure operates efficiently, and supporting the daily operations of the farm. Key Responsibilities: • Perform plumbing and heating repairs in response to any faults reported, diagnosing issues and replacing defective parts as needed. • Re-instate disconnected systems and ensure the ongoing functionality of plumbing systems. • Assist with annual maintenance tasks, including servicing heating systems and boilers, cleaning, and replacing parts. • Maintain records of repair works, work orders, and any maintenance performed. • Provide input and feedback on system performance to the Maintenance Supervisor, identifying areas for improvement and recurring issues. • Monitor and conduct preventive maintenance of boilers and heating equipment, as required. • Work to ensure plumbing systems are operational for the farm's smooth production and processing of mushrooms. • Support the setup, shutdown, and maintenance of heating equipment as needed for production schedules. • Participate in routine safety and maintenance meetings to discuss issues, concerns, and improvements. • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls from farm production or maintenance supervisors. • Maintain effective communication with team members and management regarding plumbing and heating concerns and improvements. • Assist with ensuring plumbing systems adhere to farm health and safety standards.
