Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial and residential buildings - Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings - Install PVC, Cast Iron, PEX, CPVC, and Copper Piping - Install plumbing fixtures and equipment - Perform field service work, including troubleshooting and repairing plumbing issues - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as Electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects - Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site - Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction Qualifications: - Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification - Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations - Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings - Experience with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work - Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measuring and cutting pipes - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and perform tasks that require manual dexterity - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
