Job Title: Journeyman Plumber Job Description We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team and perform industrial and commercial plumbing installations. This role involves layout, rough-in, and finish work for domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems. You will frequently coordinate with other trades on active jobsites to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities • Perform layout, rough-in, and finish work for domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems. • Install sleeves, hangers, carriers, fixture sets, and equipment tie-ins. • Work with various materials such as copper, PVC, CPVC, and black iron, including cutting, threading, and soldering/brazing. • Conduct pressure and leak testing to ensure system integrity. • Read and interpret prints and isometric drawings to ensure installations are code-compliant. • Coordinate daily tasks with site supervision and adjacent trades to maintain a clean and safe jobsite. Essential Skills • Journeyman License or 7+ years of verifiable plumbing trade experience. • Proficiency in working with copper, PVC, CPVC, and black iron materials. • Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings and apply relevant plumbing and mechanical codes. • Ownership of basic hand tools and reliable transportation. • Capability to work safely, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks requiring standing or kneeling for extended periods.
