Done Right Today Plumbing Manager We are now seeking an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead our skilled technicians and help us continue delivering top-tier service while fostering a positive, productive work environment rooted in our core values POSITION SUMMARY Plan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of plumbing structures and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a job project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Supervise and delegate plumbing technicians and helpers, which includes assisting in hiring and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting technician meetings, counseling and training technicians, completing time sheets, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, technicians, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or job site problems. - Plan, schedule, or coordinate plumbing project activities to meet deadlines. - Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports. - Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the installation or maintenance of plumbing structures, facilities, or systems. - Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at job sites to ensure that proper procedures are being followed. - Judgment - The ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information. - Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures. - Technical Aptitude - Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information. - Resource Management (People & Equipment) - Ability to obtain and appropriate the proper usage of equipment, facilities, materials, as well as personnel. - Leadership - Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions. - Energetic - Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work. - Business Acumen - Ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Other Requirements: Strong knowledge of approved methods, techniques, and materials used in plumbing installation and maintenance; good knowledge of plumbing codes regulating the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems; ability to read and interpret plans and specifications of plumbing systems; good judgment; strong leadership skills. Overview Insight Globals residential home development client is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing devices. Candidates should have significant experience in handling tools, and have knowledge of installation and maintenance processes, and plumbing codes. Duties ● Plumbing Inspections: Inspect the plumbing systems for leaks, clogs, corrosion, and potential failures. ● Minor Repairs: Fix leaking faucets, replace defective valves, repair or replace toilets, and correct minor pipe leaks. ● Drain Cleaning: Use manual and motorized tools to clear blockages in drains, including sinks, tubs, and toilets. ● Pipe Repair: Address small leaks or cracks in pipes, including the use of pipe sleeves, fittings, and sealants.
