Plumber- Full Time (Harrah's Atlantic City)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understands and responds to internal guests needs. Communicates in a friendly, respectful and understandable manner. Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answer when unsure. Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods. Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers and guests. Works with blueprints, sketches, service requests, state, municipal ordinances and underwrites ordinances and specifications. Installs, connects, and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinkling, hydraulic, refrigeration, various gas, steam, and other pressure systems. Performs maintenance and repair functions on major system breakdowns, diagnosing trouble, repairing or replacing. Communicates at all times with supervisors and Engineering/ Maintenance office as directed. A security escort is required should these persons perform these duties in a restricted casino area. EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalency certificate. Must be a journeyman plumber. Prior hotel plumbing maintenance experience preferred. Five years plumbing experience. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license. MAINTENANCE WORKER (plumbing experience)

12-Month Position • * PLUMBING LICENSE PREFERRED ** Job Goal: To maintain the physical school plant, facilities and equipment in a condition of operating excellence and safety, so that full educational use of them may be made at all times. Qualifications: • Hold or obtain and keep valid, at minimum, a Black Seal Boiler's License. • Have and keep valid a New Jersey driver's license. • Have basic communications and computational skills. • Building, facilities and maintenance experience preferred. • Experience in specific craft areas, vocation and/or job responsibilities. • Meet physical requirements of position. • Hold state licenses (highly desirable). • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status. Plumber- Facilities and Engineering- Full Time

About the RoleThe Plumber is responsible for the repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing systems throughout the building.Position Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the repair, maintenance and installation of domestic water distribution systems, steam distribution systems, sanitary sewerage systems, irrigation systems, fire suppression systems and their appurtenant equipment throughout the building.
