Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU’s proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. (AKA Essential Duties) • Install, maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, valves, faucets, traps and other sanitary fixtures. Install fixtures, supports and hangers. Maintain steam lines, steam traps, steam heating, and cooking equipment. • Maintain piping systems by opening clogged pipes and traps and repairing broken or leaking pipes. • Install and maintain HVAC equipment, piping and electrical equipment • Measure, cut, thread and install pipe for steam, natural gas and water lines. • Make repairs and adjustments and perform oiling and greasing of equipment. • Inspect, maintain, repair and/or replace heating system pumps, cooling system pumps, chemical feed pumps, condensation pumps and backflow valves. • Comply with safety regulations and precautions for handling potential hazards of the trades. • Perform lead work over helpers performing basic assignments. • Use methods, materials, tools and practices of the mechanical trade. • Perform related work as required.
