Primary purpose of this position: Supervise all activities associated with plumbing field installation (commercial projects). Specific Job Duties: • Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes • Assure that plumbing and piping systems are fabricated and installed in accordance with plans and specifications • Oversee layout of plumbing and mechanical work • Manage plumbing field employees and complete daily tasks with the team • Coordinate and mobilize all resources required to meet job schedule requirements • Engage all employees within span of control in order to build relationships, assess employee performance, observe work progress and assure a safe work environment • Actively pursue personal development opportunities • Enforce company policies and assure compliance with company procedures • Work effectively with all departments within the company, General Contractors and other trades • Perform additional duties relative to position as assigned by supervisor • Operate within established budget parameters • Seek opportunities to reduce costs through value engineering suggestions, effective vehicle utilization and managing for improved productivity Other Requirements: • Ability to work on a team and interact with people • Punctual and regular attendance • Engage in continuous improvement activities • Actively pursue personal development opportunities • Strong mechanical aptitude • Ability to read & understand drawings and specifications in order to accurately accomplish layout of plumbing and mechanical work • Must have the ability to travel to job sites and occasionally have overnight stays • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy Education and Experience Requirements: • Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED • WV Master Plumber certification • 2 or more years experience in a supervisory capacity • Minimum 7 years' experience as a plumbing mechanic or similar position Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
