Harrisonburg Service Plumbing Technician Specific Job Duties: Technical expertise in commercial and residential plumbing applications for this position is a MUST. Service Plumbing Technicians must be effective listeners with a strong ability to communicate with customers, often in tense or difficult situations. Position: ELECTRICAL PLUMBING MANAGER 0932 SFO 156083 Job Description Under general administrative direction, the Electrical & Plumbing Manager directs the division’s day-to-day activities related to the operation, maintenance, repair, and construction of the Airport's critical electrical and plumbing systems—including fire alarm and fire suppression systems. This position falls under the Facilities Division and reports to the Director of Maintenance. The Electrical & Plumbing Manager also coordinates field inspections to ensure work aligns with established standards and practices. Additionally, this role is responsible for managing a preventative maintenance program for these systems, including all inspection, testing, and maintenance required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Substitution: Additional work experience as described above may fully substitute for the required degree on a year or year basis up to four (4) years.
