CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Plumbing Apprentice - 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year The Plumbing Apprentice position allows you to learn the skills required of the commercial plumbing and mechanical trade while working in a full-time paid employment position with on-the-job training from experienced plumbing journeymen as well as company-provided apprenticeship classes one afternoon every 2 weeks. The Plumbing Apprentice assists in the assembly, installation and repair of plumbing, water flow and drainage systems in accordance with applicable plumbing codes. The Plumbing Apprentice is also responsible for delivering high quality work & productivity and is expected to go through the apprenticeship training program to become a skilled Journeyman plumber. CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Journeyman or Master Plumbers Position Summary: We are looking for Journeyman or Master Plumbers to work primarily on large new commercial construction projects - assembling, installing and repairing plumbing and med gas systems according to project specifications and appropriate trade and building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, fixtures and boilers for hydronic heating, water, med gas and drainage systems. They will also provide training for apprentices. Essential Job Functions: • Diagnose problems and/or failures in a variety of plumbing and gas systems. • Repair and install various types of pipes including iron, steel, copper and pvc. • Inspect equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. • Make decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. • Test for leaks in new and repaired systems with compressed air and/or water. • Overnight travel as necessary within the region. • Provide daily direction to assigned apprentices on the job site and participate in training and development of apprentices.
