Journeyman Plumber

Now HIRING Licensed Journeyman Plumbers. Responsible for accurately installing and repairing plumbing in commercial and industrial structures. Must be able to rough in and top out new commercial construction and commercial retro fits. Must have knowledge of plumbing codes and proper installation procedures. Qualifications and Skills • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings • Ability to repair or replace any plumbing • Lay out and connect plumbing according to a diagram • Organizational, supervisory, and decision making/problem solving skills • Experience operating equipment: Track Hoes, Manlifts, etc. • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures; including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area • Louisiana, Arkansas, or Texas Journeyman Plumbing license • Valid Driver’s license • Pass Pre-employment screening • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and frequently carry 40 lbs. unassisted • Ability to work at heights including climbing on ladders, scaffolding and stair cases • Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as bend, crouch, kneel and work in small spaces Job Type: Full-time Base Pay: From $28.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) 4% Match • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person

Plumber and Plumbing Foreman

Place Services, Inc. has an immediate needs for Commercial Plumbers and Plumbing Foreman to be based out of Shreveport, LA. The Commercial Plumber will be responsible for installing plumbing fixtures, pumps, and other plumbing equipment on various commercial construction projects. The Commercial Plumbing Foreman will need to relate specific instructions and direction to crew and assign specific tasks; supervise tasks and assist in layout, fabrication, and installation problems as needed.
