Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs of pipes, fixtures, and appliances. • Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for various plumbing projects. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion. • Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed during installations or repairs. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Skills • Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. • Experience with welding, carpentry, HVAC systems, and remodeling projects is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. • Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. • Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions. • Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for diverse repair tasks beyond plumbing.
