Job Description As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the layout, installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial and industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing theory, applicable codes, and best practices to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities • Install new and replacement equipment and parts according to manufacturer specifications to maintain warranty compliance. • Install piping systems, including water lines, compressed air lines, drain lines, and process piping in accordance with established standards and codes. • Perform maintenance and service on drain lines, leaks, backflow systems, hot water systems, boilers, filters, and related components for both scheduled and on-demand requests. • Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, urinals, water heaters, hot water tanks, and water softeners. • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess conditions and gather information for cost estimation of installations and repairs. • Prepare detailed take-offs for labor and materials required for accurate cost estimates. • Complete all required documentation, including timesheets, expense reports, service reports, and purchase card logs. • Participate in general tasks such as safety training, on-call service rotations, and maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles. Essential Skills • Strong understanding of construction and plumbing. • Experience with PVC, installation, and mechanical piping. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics. • Knowledge of boilers and backflow systems. • Experience in preventive maintenance. • Proficiency in brazing. • Ability to open and close work orders. • Must possess a valid plumbing license.
