Falk Plumbing Supply in El Dorado, AR is currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual for a full-time Warehouse and Delivery Driver position. Falk Plumbing is a family-*owned company dedicated to providing excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.* Warehouse and Delivery Driver (Safety Sensitive Position) Warehouse Warehouse Manager To receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the company warehouse by performing the following duties: 1. Pull customer orders. Orders are pulled by location; be sure when pulling order to check and double check item to make sure it is the proper part. Be sure to have a pen and any tools needed to complete the task such as: marker, shopping cart, sacks, knife, and boxes. If location is empty check overstock location, get what is needed and restock shelf. Place smaller items in larger containers, stage orders in assigned areas according to customer pick up, deliver, or branch transfer. Keep all staging areas neat. On larger orders palletize and shrink wrap as requested by the customer and mark with black marker any information that is required. Sign legibly on the bottom of the order on the required line. See supervisor for next assignment. 2. Unload incoming freight trucks. Check for any damages before signing freight bill. Report any damages, overages, shortages to warehouse manager immediately. 3. Help loading and unloading distribution center truck. Count all pipe before it is loaded into racks to insure proper count. 4. Stock materials on the shelf that are received from vendors, make note of any location changes and overages, shortages and report to warehouse manager for corrections. 5. Keep all shelves stock with material at all times insuring there are no half empty boxes of material in the bin. Dispose of any and all trash. 6. Assist truck drivers when needed in loading of their trucks for customer delivery 7. Report any damage to trucks, building and other equipment immediately 8. When pulling orders and inventory is incorrect report it immediately so inventory can be corrected. 9. Use forklift and order picker when necessary or needed to pull or put away material. 10. Keep floors in the warehouse swept and clean; straighten material inside shelves and racks to prevent damage. 11. Keep pipe yard clean and free of debris and place all trash and debris in dumpster. 12. Report as early as possible any reason for which you will be unable to come to work so workloads can be adjusted. 13. Drivers review delivery assignments with supervisor who will help you layout an efficient delivery pattern. 14. Load truck accordingly, with last delivery loaded first and first delivery loaded last. Make sure all boxes are clearly marked. 15. Make sure all orders have been signed by the order picker. 16. If unsure of location of delivery see your manager. 17. A personal daily delivery manifest is required of each associate running deliveries. 18. Before leaving make sure the vehicle has adequate gas, if not your first stop should be a Fuelman location to gas up. Always check the oil in the trucks when stopping for fuel. 19. Drive safely and defensively. Buckle up. 20. Keep an accident report with the vehicle at all times. If you are involved in an accident first make sure no one is injured and assist anyone who is, call police and supervisor, then fill out the accident report. If you have a cell phone please take pictures of the accident before any vehicles have been moved as well as pictures showing the damage to the company vehicle. 21. Perform other duties as assigned. : All Truck Drivers will need to go through training for deliveries. 1. Check delivery ticket against the merchandise to make sure the correct items are being delivered. 2. Tie down any pipe and large items to make sure they are not damaged during delivery. 3. When you arrive at your destination, you will need to find the customer and determine where the customer wants the material. 4. Unload the material to requested area making sure you are very aware of your surroundings and material. 5. Find customer again and present the invoice to them, ask them to spell their name (like UPS), leave customer with the invoice, ask them if there is anything else we can do for them and then thank them for their business. If there is no customer at the jobsite, document on the invoice exactly where the material was left. Include exact time of delivery and name of the driver. 6. Pick up any trash left behind and return to warehouse 7. Be sure to have a current DOT physical card. Notify supervisor when the card is expiring so a new physical can be scheduled and a new card obtained. 8. Other duties as assigned. · Basic computer skills · Communication Proficiency · Organizational skills · Dependability · Ethical Conduct Must be able to lift 50 lbs, pass a physical and drug screen · High School diploma or GED required This is a Safety Sensitive Position due to the nature of work happening in the branch. The Delivery Driver will at any time use, maintain or monitor heavy equipment, and drive a company vehicle to and from job sites and moving, loading, delivering heavy materials to job sites.
