About the role A CBRE Service Plumber will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout a facility. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function which provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What you’ll do • Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and distribution systems. • Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. • Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer. • Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations. • Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed. • Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc. What you’ll need High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
