Description As a Plumber, you’ll play a key role in our team’s success by becoming the founding member of our plumbing division, with an opportunity to build your own team. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, while communicating with customers and coordinating with teammates to get the job done safely and exceptionally. In this role, you’ll perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs while recommending multiple service options to customers to ensure we meet their needs and preferences. You’ll work cross functionally with dispatchers to provide exceptional customer service and help streamline company operations by providing detailed recording keeping for future service projects. Plumber Responsibilites/Requirements The responsibilities below include, but are not limited to: • Proven 2-3 years of recent, full-time experience • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking • Accurately diagnose and clearly explain plumbing issues to customers, providing multiple service options based on their needs and preferences • Perform maintenance, and repairs while delivering the highest standards of craftsmanship and cleanliness • Comply with all local codes using quality materials and never taking shortcuts • Master the products, materials, and supplies we provide especially relating to tankless water heaters, water filtration, tank type water heaters and fixture replacement and repairs • Maintain a Safe Work Environment • Convey a safety conscious attitude in regards to yourself, your customers, your fellow employees, and the general public at all times • Operate company provided equipment according to the safety guidelines approved by the manufacturer • Operate company vehicles in accordance with local and state laws and in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of those around you • Maintain cleanliness of company truck inside and out • Provide detailed record keeping and reporting for the benefit of customers and company operations • Uphold the highest standards of safety for yourself, your teammates, and your customers • Any other assigned duties as directed, to include but no limited to, all duties outlined • This role will also involve participating in our on-call rotation to ensure timely response to customer service requests outside of regular business hours. Scheduled maintenance is performed within 48 hours of notification to do so. ● Attends quarterly meetings with the Branch Manager to discuss promotion and the requirements to move into the next level of a plumbing technician. Comfortable with more complex plumbing issues, consistently high customer ratings, and able to hit over 75% close rate on jobs. 12 months and ongoing: ● Shows updated knowledge of pricing in ServiceTitan (as it frequently changes) to create estimates for customers for plumbing, drains, and water cleanup services and repairs. ● Shows a strong ability to independently and accurately diagnose and close high-cost jobs within the parameters of their level of Plumbing technician role. ● Meets with the Branch Manager to identify an Apprentice or newly hired Plumbing Technician to partner with and develop through training and coaching.
