Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations: (And Not Limited To) Reports to: General Manager/Project Manager/Job Supervisor THE EXPERIENCED PLUMBER POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHOWING UP EARLY TO WHERE THEY ARE TO REPORT FOR WORK, OPEN TO CONTINUED LEARNING THE TRADE, FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS AND MAINTAINING A PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AT ALL TIMES. SUPERVISES A TEAM OF COMMERCIAL PLUMBERS AND PLUMBER APPRENTICES. TRAINS & DEVELOPS NON-LICENSED PLUMBERS AND PLUMBER APPRENTICES. INSTALLS, MAINTAINS AND REPAIRS PIPES AND FIXTURES ASSOCIATED WITH PLUMBING APPLICATIONS IN COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS. INSPECTS DRAINAGE AND OTHER PLUMBING SYSTEMS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL AND STATE REGULATIONS. Teamwork skills are necessary. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Strong communication skills & collaborate with contractor, job site workers and all stakeholders. • Provide great customer service. • Inspects plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning & report all findings. • Installs, tests, repairs & replaces commercial pipes, fittings, fixtures, supports & all sizes of backflow devices. • Diagnose any issues, inssues, troubleshoot issues, make repairs & repair leaks. • Can Lift 50 lbs Unassisted. • Plumbing Background. • Maintain Inventory of Materials & Supplies. • Must Have Own Tools. • Constantly be learning through training from independent study, peers and attending trade workshops when available. • Implementation of safe work practices. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. • Complies with federal, state and local building and plumbing codes by enforcing adherence to requirements, including ADA and Title VII requirements. • Clean, neat and professional appearance. • Other job duties & responsibilities as assigned.
