Master Plumber Location: East End Plumbing | Grand Rapids, MI | Full-Time | In-Person $115,000 -$129,000 (Based on Experience) + Full Benefits Monday–Friday | No On-Call | No Weekends | No Overnights Who We're Looking For: East End Plumbing is on a mission to REDEFINE THE PLUMBING INDUSTRY, and we're looking for a licensed Master Plumber ready to help lead that charge. Your Role as a Master Plumber: Technical Expertise & Field Leadership • Provide expert-level troubleshooting, code-compliant installations, and high-quality repairs • Guide and mentor journeymen and apprentices on best practices and problem-solving • Oversee workmanship and job quality, ensuring every install meets or exceeds local code Project Planning & Operational Support • Assist with job walkthroughs, material planning, and crew coordination • Collaborate with estimators to ensure accurate scopes and labor forecasting • Ensure jobs are delivered on time, on budget, and without callbacks Business Growth & Culture Building • Support the hiring process by evaluating technical and cultural fit of new team members • Champion safety, training, and continuous improvement • Work closely with leadership to develop SOPs, systems, and scalable processes as we grow Qualifications You’ll Need: • Master Plumber’s License (Required) • Mechanical License (Required) • Experience leading a team • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record • Residential plumbing experience — Service and Projects! • Knowledge of permitting, inspection processes, and code compliance • Solid customer service and communication skills • Tech-savvy: Can use tablets / laptops, software, and online permitting tools confidently What You’ll Get: • Up to $55 per hour based on experience and performance • Company-provided truck, gas card, cell phone, tablet/laptop • Full health benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision, Life • 401(k) or Retirement Plan Options • Paid holidays & vacation • Monday–Friday schedule (No nights, no weekends, no on-call) • Ongoing training & development • A leadership role in a company that invests in YOU bwXF4MOXW3

Responsibilities • Installation of complete plumbing systems in residential and light commercial applications • Demonstrate motivation and flexibility to adeptly handle responsibilities on both commercial and residential job sites. • Utilize a wealth of experience in overseeing crews of 2-10 plumbers, providing effective leadership and guidance. • Maintain a valid plumbing license to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Attend weekly job meetings and coordinate with the General Contractor's on-site Supervisor during project duration. • Ensure work compliance with engineering specifications and local building codes. • Maintain accurate work logs, including job sites, time, equipment, materials, and recommendations for follow-up. • Work with minimal supervision, applying skills and independent decision-making to deliver superior quality work for the customer. • Demonstrate the ability and willingness to train and mentor apprentices. Requirements: • Possess a Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in MI • 3+ years of Lead Plumber experience • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record • Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs., climbing up and down ladders, and flexible enough to fit into tight places • Skilled at using power and hand tools. • Excellent and effective communication skills (oral and written) • Must be authorized to work in the US.
