Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with experience in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to identify issues. • Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and construction workers, on job sites to ensure efficient workflow. • Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment on construction sites. • Weld pipes and fittings as necessary to ensure secure connections within plumbing systems. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols at construction sites. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project updates and plumbing solutions. Qualifications • Proven experience as a plumber with relevant certifications or licenses. • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials used in the industry. • Ability to plumb various types of fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters. • Experience with remodeling projects is preferred. • Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting tools and materials as needed. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential. • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
