Inspects/tests water, steam disposal, oxygen, vacuum, and natural gas systems. Performs all plumbing work in compliance with all codes, regulations, etc. May also do general maintenance and repair tasks. Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 1. After review of blue prints or sketches/drawings of assignment, accurately estimates quantity and type of materials needed for plumbing work to be performed. 2. Install, maintain, modify and repair all plumbing systems and associated plumbing equipment. 3. Inspect, test, maintain and repair water, steam disposal, oxygen, vacuum, and natural gas systems. 4. Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time. 5. Complete work orders, record material utilized on jobs and other required documentation. 6. May also perform general maintenance and repair tasks as required. 7.
