Residential Plumbing Manager

Service Professor is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Manager to expand our team and lead our residential plumbing operations to new heights. Position Overview: The Plumbing Manager will manage all personnel and activity of the service and/or install departments of the company. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: implementing strategies to achieve the financial goals of the two departments and overseeing all aspects of the Plumbing technicians they relate to scheduling, training, and supervision. Collaboration between departments is required for the department to run smoothly and to give the best quality of service to the client. Position Entails: Leadership and Management: • Lead and manage a team of plumbing technicians and support staff. • Develop and implement training programs to ensure technical proficiency and safety compliance. • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Operations: • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. • Manage scheduling and dispatching of technicians for service calls and installations. • Ensure all work is completed to company standards and customer satisfaction. Customer Service: • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of service issues. • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner. Financial Management: • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. • Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing. Compliance and Safety: • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. What Does It Take? • Minimum of 7 years of service and/or installation experience • Proven experience in service management or a similar role. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities. • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets. • Service Titan experience desired. • Ability to pass a DOT physical/drug screen and background check. • Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record; ability to obtain a chauffeur’s license if needed. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, analyze and solve problems, and work independently as well as in teams. Service Professor is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician for our 2nd shift. This position will work Monday thru Friday from 12pm - 9pm. Position Overview: Our Residential Plumbing Service Technician will repair and maintenance plumbing systems in residential properties. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that homes have reliable and efficient plumbing systems, addressing issues promptly to prevent damage and inconvenience to homeowners. A Typical Day Looks Like: • Repairs: When there's a plumbing problem in a home, such as leaks, clogs, or broken fixtures, our service plumbers are called to diagnose and fix the issue. This can involve repairing or replacing damaged pipes, faucets, toilets, water heaters, or any other plumbing components. • Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential to prevent major plumbing issues. Our service plumbers perform tasks like inspecting pipes for leaks, checking water pressure, cleaning drains, and flushing water heaters to remove sediment buildup. • Emergency Services: Plumbing emergencies can happen at any time, such as burst pipes or overflowing toilets. Our service plumbers will respond to such emergencies and provide prompt repairs. • Consultation and Advice: You may also offer consultation services, advising homeowners on plumbing system upgrades, energy-efficient fixtures, water conservation measures, and other improvements that can enhance the efficiency and functionality of their plumbing systems.
