In addition, functions as a Special Project Coordinator by performing system analysis and monitoring and/or coordinating the activities of contracted service or construction companies as they perform their services. Trains other trades personnel during the start-ups of newly constructed or renovated areas, new equipment installs or from yearly in-services. Responsible for installing and maintaining dust barrier when performing job duties. Must fill out completed work orders and/or daily time sheets and turn them in daily. Monitors and maintains required supplies and tools in a neat and orderly fashion insuring that proper inventory is maintained, tools are functioning properly and readily accessible and that the work/production areas are in a clean and neat manner as evidenced by management or regulatory observation. Notify management of needed supplies in a timely manner by filling out material request forms Essential Functions • Repair to plumbing fixtures throughout the facility. • Preventative Maintenance assignments on required equipment. • Maintaining hospital sewer system including drain maintenance. • Trouble shooting supply water problems and correcting. • Reading and understanding facility mechanical blueprints. • Installation of new equipment (fixtures and systems). Range of Pay • Pay starting at $28.62 per hour. Qualifications Required • High School Diploma or equivalent • 8 years of documented lead work in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing infrastructure in a 400,000 sq. ft. commercial, industrial or institutional facility.
