Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drain Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving drainage issues in residential and commercial settings. BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOB As the Construction Manager, you are responsible for effectively planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the day-to-day workings of construction activities with oversight. This position is responsible for managing projects within a region, scope, schedule, and budgets for all site activity. Your ability to own your work and drive success will make a direct impact on the communities we serve. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Posesses professional knowledge & expertise in their specific function • Assignments & projects are in-depth & extensive in scope & complexity • Makes recommendation or decisions within specific guidelines • Oversees specific on-site operations for development with oversight from upper management. • Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the workings of particular projects related to creating a new building/structure, updating existing building footprints, or overseeing the re-development of an existing building. • Essential element in driving the day-to-day operations of the company but does not direct the policy or mission of the Company. • Manage scope, schedule and budget and understand all site activity. • Reviews all bids with the VP of Construction to prepare contract relating to hard and soft construction costs. • Continually evaluate and report contract vs budget, schedule and any applicable change orders to VP of Construction or SVP of Development. • Review and approve Project Pay Applications, change orders and any hard cost related invoices. • Manages third party General Contractor on the construction site. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience and/or Training • Minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in Construction Management related field • Experience and understanding of construction mean and methods, conceptual estimating, material and labor costs and use to provide a detailed Project budget, and construction scheduling systems • Proven ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects of varying scales. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Excellent client-service and negotiation skills • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task in a time sensitive environment. • A high level of professionalism with a customer service attitude • Must be a team player, self-motivated and have excellent time management, organizational, problem solving, negotiating and leadership skills. • Willingness to travel as needed. Technology/Equipment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Project, Outlook and Project management software. Preferably Procore project management platform.
