Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist in pipefitting and fabrication functions within the Petrochemical industry • Work closely with Pipe Welders, crew, and management team to meet completion schedules • Pipefitter Foreman positions may be required to assist with daily shop activities • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor • Ability work well with others, self-motivated and follows instructions • Ability to learn and understand safety procedures and practices Minimum Requirements: • 3 years general pipefitting experience • Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings and prints associated with fuels systems and pipe fabrication • Experience using Personal Protective Equipment • Knowledge of pipe take-offs and lay-out required • Experience supporting welding requirements under API 1104, ASME B31.3 and ASME Section IX and Petrochemical industry preferred • Reliable and understands their role as a team member • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time and be able to access military and secured industrial sites • May be required to work internationally for short-term and potential long-term assignments that will include travel incentive pay • Knowledge of pipe take-offs and lay-out is preferred • Physically capable to work outdoors in hot and/or cold temperatures • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug/background screens and GY6 physical examination and have the ability to use safety equipment as required • May be required to maintain a valid U.S passport for travel internationally for short-term and potential long-term assignments Preferred Qualifications: • Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Hour training preferred GY6 is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
