Duties and Responsibility’s: Job Foreman • Knowledge of commercial multiplex refrigeration systems, computer controlled systems and installation procedures • Knowledge of refrigeration and pipe fitting • Knowledge of blue-prints, detailing refrigeration, and/or fixtures • Ability to pipe refrigeration equipment • Ability to pump down both single and multiplex refrigeration systems • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Good mechanical skills in the use of hand and power tools • Minimum 5 years journeyman level experience in the construction industry • Hands on field experience in refrigeration construction • Experience in installation in supermarkets preferred • Refrigeration Construction Foreman should be TYPE II E.P.A. certified. Universal certification preferred Refrigeration installers/pipefitters • Knowledge of electrical/EMS systems and ability to wire installations. • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, and piping of refrigeration equipment. • Knowledge of refrigeration pipe fittings, and ability to pipe refrigeration equipment. • Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints on refrigeration piping, EMS, and fixtures. • Ability to hang evaporation coils, and install overhead hangers. • Ability to use hand and power tools and good mechanical skills. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Ensure company image on all projects is enhanced by maintaining a well-organized job site. • Ensure quality of installations meets company, industry, and regulatory standards. • Ensure that safety precautions are followed on all jobs. • The ability to work either nights or out-of-town depending on the job. • Receive job instructions from Job Leader. • Install equipment on jobs. • Charge parts off of truck inventory to jobs. • Fill out time sheets with proper times and job numbers every day. • Assure that all tools and cords are in proper and safe operating condition. • Attend job meetings when required. Helpers/Apprentices • Provides support on construction job by safety building refrigeration racks in the warehouse in accordance with instruction to ensure a timely and quality completion of projects. • Provides support to the electrician and fitting journeyman or foreman as required to safely and efficiently complete the projects. • Provides assistance to the journeyman and foreman as needed on the job. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned. • Skill in mechanical knowledge of hand tool operation. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Good mechanical skills in the use of hand and power tools. • Knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance. • Ability and strong desire to learn. • Ability to take direction.
