Key Responsibilities: • The HVAC DX System Installation Foreman supervises and coordinates the activities of work crews who are engaged in the installation of HVAC mechanical products and equipment. • The Foreman will take personal ownership of upholding the values for which we are known: quality, integrity, safety, and teamwork. • Supervise and coordinate tradesman and crew activities, including but not limited to, the installation of mechanical systems on the job site. • Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, job orders, and company policies as needed for area supervision while enforcing all safety rules, regulations, and laws. • Establish and adjust work sequences to meet the construction schedule using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel. • Order materials, equipment, and tools required to maintain efficient use of labor resources. • Analyze and resolve work-related/jobsite related problems. • Maintain time records of assigned personnel. • Uphold an active role in the success and growth of each assigned personnel. Qualifications: • Proven experience with at least two years of field experience with a track record of quality workmanship. • EPA and OSHA 10 Certification Required. • Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of HVAC mechanical equipment and installation practices. • Ability to visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, schematics, and blueprints. • Capability to evaluate information using measurable standards. • Holds a current and valid Florida Driver's License. • Possesses proficient written and verbal communication skills, detailed organizational skills, and accurately calculates construction/shop math. • Ability to use software for calendars, planning, and workflow processes. • Drug test, background check, and a clean driving record are pre-employment requirements. • Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully; lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; stand for long periods of time. Basic duties include but are not limited to: • Install and repair toilets, faucets, hose bibs, and drains. • Installing garbage disposals. • Unclogging sinks, toilets, and drains. • Installing shower/tub valves and trim. • Replacing and maintaining water heaters. • Leak detection and repair. • Maintain a clean and well-stocked fleet vehicle.
